There is church school every Sunday starting at 9:30.
Our Church School program reconvenes on Sunday September 11th, beginning with registration at 9:30 am in the parish hall.
Our program promises to be a time for prayer, worship, activities and fellowship as the scripture and the history of the Church come alive for our young people. We are once again using the lectionary based, “Living the Good News,” which gives our young people an understanding of the Liturgy of the Word on their own level.
The “lectionary” is the series of readings that are instrumental to the WORD part of the Sunday Eucharist, or worship. The readings come to the young people by reading them out loud, acting the stories out, and employing various arts and crafts to make the scripture a real part of their lives.
Church is open for young people from nursery age through high school; all are encouraged to attend, and better yet to bring a friend. Our classes are: Nursery care Primary (1-4) Intermediate (5-8) and High School.
