Emergency treatment at HCF Dental Centres

If you’re in significant pain, and can’t get a same-day appointment, you can come to an HCF Dental Centre and wait to see the next available dentist. Please be aware this may take some time – the best times to seek emergency treatment are 8am or 2pm.

We do everything we can to see members with a genuine dental emergency as soon as possible. Priority is given to members with trauma or a critical dental condition.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

If you have an emergency appointment we’ll only assess the tooth that is giving pain or discomfort. Emergency treatment can range from an assessment, placement of a temporary or permanent filling, dressing or prescription. Depending on the nature of the emergency, and time available, final treatment cannot be guaranteed and further appointments may be necessary. Please note that you may have to pay for emergency treatment.
